May I know how did you confirm that AVG is blocking Facebook?
Have you turned off AVG protection temporarily to check the status?
If not, open AVG Antivirus/Internet Security interface.
Click on "Menu–>Settings–>Troubleshooting–>Passive Mode".
Slide the cursor to turn on passive mode which will disable protection temporarily.
Keep us informed about the status.

Hi, 
I Contact Facebook Helpline Number 1-877-221-2974 They Told Me To Remove Avg From My Computer, also they told me that my Facebook is not working because avg is blocking it. 
Is That True? Did you guys block facebook on my computer?
