Ok, first of all yes, I know I have Windows XP.  (Please do not laugh).  I have had the free anti virus scanner for years through AVG.  A few months ago (or within the last year anyway) I had an automatic update that forced me to get the ZEN version.  I did not like it and it made my computer way too slow. There was a phone number at the time for the free version support and that really needs to come back right away by the way ! I was able to get an older version that they told me to get and it had worked fine all this time.  Now as of yesterday it did an automatic update and has that same stupid ZEN version again only this time it does not work and it reads UI Failed to Upload.  Underneath it it talks about how emberassing it is.  I have called AVG and no one wants to talk to you and help you because it is a free version.  One time however I did get someone who I thought was going to help and did a remote access on my computer just to tell me I needed to get rid of Malwarebytes and it was conflicting with the free ZEN version of AVG and wanted to charge me 50 dollars to do that.  I have installed and uninstalled AVG several times in hopes it might help but it has not.  I even tried Avast (it's sister company) and the same exact thing happened.  Also, it asks you to add extension for Web Tune up but then tells you it will change things around in my Google Chrome browser and some other stuff so I told it no.  No matter what I do, I keep getting the same error message.  I tonight called and again thought I was getting help and let them do another remote access just to basically hear the same thing and how they would save me money and it was the same price. It is their program and not my computer.  That Malwarebytes program I have had in my computer for a very long before and after this ZEN program of AVG came about and I know for certain that is not the problem.  I think they do not want to take responsibility for their own faulty programs and I can see no one really likes it. I also read where others had the same error message. I'm not extremely computer savvy and need some help if you folks want to help me please.  I think AVG wants to screw me around and try to make some money off of me and not fix the problem they have and put the blame on me and then charge me to fix it. PLEASE HELP and THANKS! I certainly will very much appreciate it ! Oh and I looked at Panda free version but it looks like it gives false positives and tried to change your web browser so I was not sure.  I have heard good things about Kaspersky but not sure how free it actually is and for how long. THANKS AGAIN!!
