May I know the Operating System on your PC in which you're installing the AVG program?

Please share us a screenshot of the error message during installation. You can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on "Answer" & then click on the "Image" [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.

Also, check your control panel if AVG programs are installed, if yes, please uninstall it and try installing again.

I have also sent an email with the steps to install and activate the subscription. Please check the email and follow the steps.

I just renewed my AVG subscription and downloaded the renewal avg setup.exe file and when I double-click RUN I get a message "AVG_internet_security_setup is not a valid Win32 Application." How do I fix this in order to run the avg .exe file?

The Operating System is compatible to install AVG Internet Security.

There might be old traces which interrupts with the installation.

Please click on the link below and a file will be donwloaded. Then, run AVG Remover tool to clear the traces of AVG and try installing the program.
