I get a prompt to update the pc tuneup but when i click the link and the update starts but in the end i get a failure msg saying that the instalation package for avg pc tuneup cannot be found- install again using a valid copy of the package

Aditi, Try this… For help on your issue please try removing AVG TuneUp using this tool (http://www.avg.com/filedir/util/TuneUp_Remover.exe) then download & install latest version from the webpage (http://www.avg.com/ww-en/download) [Scroll Down].
