Hey Alan. I completly uninstalled my old antivirus and disabled the Windows Firewall and still I get the same error codes. Now what is puzzling me is not bieng able to install in safe mode. I should be able to do that and I am not. This is the only internet security software that has giving me problems on this computer. Now I would think even with a severly infected computer it should install without major problems like this. I may have to just bite the bullet and go back to my old reliable one which was Kaspersky. Right now the ratings say AVG is like the 6 in line for security software so if I go back to Kaspersky I certainly would not be doing it any harm. I will keep it on my main computer because it is working on this one flawless with no problems at all. It would be a whole lot less stressful for me that is for sure. I do thank you for your answers back to me to try to solve my problems. It would also make sense to go back to Kaspersky because if I choose to try and have a AVG tech install the program at a cost of $24.99 there would be no guarantee it will work. The cost of getting Kaspersky is $29.95 and that is a guarantee it will work. That will be a no brainer decision if you ask me.

My problem starts with trying to install the AVG Zen on my other computer. It will not install and does not giva a error code but gives me a folder with 8 seperate folders in it. I tried install the free version of it just to try and start the process atleast and every time I try to install the free version it will give me a different error code even when the installation folder is the same exact folder. The first code was 0XC0070643, second code is 0XE0010053 and the third code is 0XC0070643. I stopped it at that point assuming I would get another diferent code. Things I have tried to fix are: disabled both of my older antivirus and firewall programs thinking that was preventing me from installing. No luck. The page it askes you to go to and get a so called fix for each code first said if I would like to have AVG manually install it will be $24.99. Absolutly no am I not paying on top of the $45.00 for the original disk am I paying another $24.99. If I dont choose to pay than there is a fix that I download. That really worked well, NOT!!! Anyone with same problem or ideas I am all ears. I dont want to feel like I wasted $45.00 on protecting 1 computer. Thanks in advance for any sugestions anyone may have on this very frustrating problem.
