I have annoying adchoice pop ups since I installed and paid for avg pro. Is this caused from avg?

Open AVG Anti-virus app/AVG Cleaner app.
Tap on the drawer.
Click on Help and support-> Contact support and fill the form.

Once you submit the form, the mobile team will reply back to you via email.

Since I installed AVG PRO, and paid for Android protection on my Sony smart phone I have had very annoying adchoice pop ups and never encounted this before. Is it from avg? How do I stop this from happening? If anything the AVG pro would remove anything like this as this is a paid protector and should not be a nuisance.  Please help
