I have AVG Internet Security but someone has gained access to my computer

Hello Sb,

We are sorry to know that you have experienced trouble of someone using your card details.
We assure you that AVG internet security program will protect your PC files and data and there is no chance of hacking your files.
There are other chances of stealing your card information.
Did you log in to any untrusted website and purchased any subscription using your card details?
Have you saved your card details on your PC or saved as a draft on your email account?

I have recently become aware that someone has access to my data because they have been accessing several credit card accounts without changing anything, and they have also ordered Microsoft Office Trial in my name - when the trial expired Microsoft began to charge me (but they have now refunded the charges). Is this the fault of AVG?

Sb,
You are most welcome.
Thank you for the information.
The term draft mean when you try sending an email and if you cancel it then it will get saved into the drafts folder.
From there you can edit the email and send it again.
In this case, we recommend you to please change your card information(password, pin etc) through contacting your bank and also all of your email account password immediately.
We also suggest you to please not to share your card information in any marketing website before you know that it is trust worthy.
Please feel free to get back to us for further assistance.
Thank you, Gulam. AVG Customer Care.

Thanks for your response
I cannot guarantee that I have not visited an untrustworthy site but I am unlikely to have purchased a subscripotion from such a site, as I do not purchase subscriptions often, and anyway I would check for the security of a site before making a purchase.
Some websites do have my credit card details, but they are all reputable companies
I don't understand the last question about "saved as a draft on an email account"
