I have macOS Sierra 10.12.2 and AVG crashes it endlessly

Hi,
I tried installing AVG antivirus for Mac (tried both downloaders ver 121 and 151) installed on macOS Sierra 10.12.2 and as soon as it is about to complete installation, the mac abruptly reboots. On the reboot, I get the black kernel panic screen for about 10 seconds and it reboots again only to show the same kernel panic screen again and again.
Any help from the AVG and the community is very much appreciated.

Pankaj, AVG Mac OS support… Please click on the following link (http://avgclick.me/AVGtechnical) and choose Yes for the Question "Are you currently using any paid/trial AVG products?" inspite of using the Free version and fill out your details, select as Mac OS then the name of AVG Program that you installed in your device and in description please completely explain about your issue and finally click on the 'Start Chat' option. You will start a live, online chat with one of the AVG agents.

Hi Alan,
Thanks for the reply. That was quick. Unfortunately I have already tried that but the while on the chat I was told that CHAT support is only available for the Windows version and not for the mac version. I was also told that this problem can only be solved through the community forums. I actually dont really know what is wrong here but the issue is persistant and installing on any version of OS X did not work. I tried installing on OS X 10.11.4 as well as 10.12.2, but had the same kernel panic black screen.
