I have several AVG products to protect my PC and it is extremely efficient. I need to know if the "updates from HP have to be installed?

Christine, You should be able to check exactly what HP updates you are being advised about.

I have an HP pc and it is protected by AVG. I have the AVG Tune up and maintenance as well as internet and virus protection.  I keep getting messages from HP to add updates and need to know if I should do so.  I know that AVG has closed some prgrammes that I don't use, to improve the PC's efficiency.
Can someone please advise?
