It would seem that my AVG Internet Security refuses to operate as it should. I have to open AVG in the control panel and choose repair at least once every two weeks due to an error message.

PC not protected: Message received 50% of the time.

Update failed: Message received 50% of the time.

I have used the recommended tool and removed AVG from my machine and reinstalled it.
I have spent more than an hour on the phone with AVG numerous times attempting to solve this issue.
The tech on the phone will fix the problem, but then it returns within a week or so.

Am I the only person experiencing this issue?

Win7 64 bit Home Premium.

I have the same proplem but Avg_SysInfo.exe stopped working.  I did it twice.
