I have uninstalled AVG PC TuneUp 2011, but whenever I go to update AVG PC TuneUp 2014 I get a message telling me I have to close AVG PC TuneUp 2011 to finish. I can't finish get the updates

Amy, When you uninstalled PC TuneUp 2011 did you use the Removal tool (http://www.avg.com/filedir/util/TuneUp_Remover.exe)?. If not you could try this now & then reinstall your PC TuneUp 2014 afterwards.
