I just installed the free version and started a thorough scan with the disk docter, it is now at 84% and froze up my computer. What do I do?

Need to know how to get this moving. Can't access anything else on that computer because the scan is up there and I can no longer use the keyboard and there is no stop button. Any answers? Thanks.
