I just renewed. Why being told it expires tomorrow

Hmmm. I see ALOT of people wanting to cancel or being charged for something they didn't buy. I did buy it and just renewed but the system says it expires tomorrow. Is AVG a scam or untrustworthy company? Maybe I should look at other options.
