I keep receiving uninvited proposals to upgrade

We're here to help. It could be possible that you have not activated the paid subscription of AVG on your PC yet, or the AVG app is not synchronized with your AVG MyAccount. Make sure that you've activated it as per the instructions in this link.

I have paid under my registration number 10088xxxxx for protection and yet I am continually receiving messages that I have insufficient protection. .Is there no such thing as a comprehensive policy? 
It seems to me that no matter how many times I pay it covers very little or am I being fooled ?
