I purchased AVG VPN Multi-device on 2.12.19. Its asking to start VPN but I dont know how to do this

I am a total novice in anything technical and need detailed information on what to do. First question is "where do I turn VPN on".  Message I am getting is "Open your AVC Secure VPN and click or tap on the OFF slider so that it changes to ON".  I don't know where I go to find the OFF slider.  Sorry but I have a really old computer (Inspiron). Still working well. Would appreciate help with getting this up and running.  Thanks in advance.
