Trying to find out what is going on when I scan.  Took about 4 hours, but never saw result but it just started scanning again.  This is the third scan but I never see the results of any of them.  What is going on?

That won't work as I have an imac not windows.

I've answered this twice but it keeps disappearing.  What is going on?  I have an imac not windows.

It's AVG anti virus and the scan is a deep scan.  Yes I did restart the computer and ran into more problems whereby the mouse wouldn't work.  I think there is a virus somewhere and thats
's why I'm doing the scan.  As I downloaded AVG only yesterday, I assume it's the latest version.  Thanks!
