I ran GMER trying to get rid of a ad malware and find it; but it killed my computer

I finally did a soft windows boot, got into Set Up and reset the defaults.  Windows is back on abut the malware is still there.  Finally paid AVG virus service to fix it.

GMER killed my desktop and it won't boot now (to get to Windows).  I was trying to kill an ad malware Offers Wizard using the instructions here on Support.  How do I get my computer back to Windows?  What is  locked up?
