I received notification that VPN has reached maximum connection

Like others have reported I have my had VPN work on all my devices until today. I received notification that it has reached maximum connection. The message states I am only entitled to one connection at a time . I checked my subscription and it is for up to 5 devices and presently there are only 4 registered.  What's the problem? How can it be sorted out?
