Is Adobe Flash Player installed, up-to-date (latest version is 16.0.0.235 which I installed just 4 days ago), and above all, enabled in Chrome? If that's not it, have you used PC TuneUp?
Robert, Assuming that you use AVG have you actually tried disabling AVG to see if it's the guilty party & it works?. Have a look @ this article (https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-disable-AVG). If it does try disabling the individual components to find the actual culprit.
