I used the removal tool, reinstalled and now it eats my AVG Free each time. Whenever I boot up, it shows the old Dos type screen and wham says it's removing. Gone again. I deleted out the removal tool even, How do I stop this....help

Thanks. I think AVG has lost me as a customer. It was eating my operating files too, so I removed it and used Avast then went back to AVG as the other one was too much to set up. grr…I will contact them though on this. Thanks for the link.

I used the removal tool, reinstalled my AVG Free after getting rid of the trial Zen, that took some doing, got error codes etc and not able to fully download, so did the removal tool, Got AVG free back and now it eats my AVG Free each time. Whenever I boot up, it shows the old Dos type screen and wham says it's removing. Gone again. I deleted out the removal tool even, not working. How do I stop this…help…Every couple of days it happens.

Sounds like AVG needs a removal tool remover…but what could remove that?
