I want to cancel my VPN due to renew in August but where to cancel on the support platfcan not find

Hi Team

On checking back I found  VPN was on special @ £19.99 so the £49.99 was an overcharge and I would request a credit for £30 despite the refund policy rules bearing in mind VPN was never activated Thanking you in anticipation.

Hi Colin,

On checking your account, we could see that you have an AVG Internet Security - Unlimited (1 year subscription) valid till 2019.12.30.

We are unable to find any subscription for the AVG Secure VPN.

Have you installed and activated the AVG Secure VPN in your computer?

If you have activated the AVG Secure VPN in your computer, please send us the activation through email.

We have sent you ane amil to your registered email address.

Please check for the email.

I want to cancel my VPN subscription due in August but can not find the field where to cancel the auto renewal for the credit card . Also my existing VPN is not showing on my active subscriptions

Colin, we are sorry to hear that you feel this way, and can understand your frustration. Our hands are tied in this matter as the refund was requested after the 30 day refund period had passed. As a result, we are unable to process a refund.

We are bound by our 30 day refund policy, which you may view here.

Thank you for your understanding.

Hi Colin,

We appreciate your patience.
Yes, we do have a goodwill gesture and was investigating with our senior team regarding it.
One of our supervisor has sent you an email and offered a good will gesture.
If the email is not found in inbox do check in spam and junk folders.
Feel free to contact us if you need further help.

Colin, according to our refund policy, you are entitled to a refund within 30 days of the date your payment was processed. Unfortunately, in your case, this timeframe has been surpassed. Had you contacted our customer care https://support.avg.com/?l=en earlier, we'd have been glad to configure AVG Secure VPN on your PC. The Subscription (automatic renewal) for this order is turned off and assure you will not be charged for future automatic extensions of this order.

The current subscription is valid till 9th Sep 2019. Let us know if you need assistance to install and activate it on your PC.

Hi Team

Forthermore may I add I retired from this company last year therefore the VPN is no longer required however my role was to deal with custmer complaints from our call centre in India and how I would have handled this bering in mind.
1/ The service was overcharged
2/ The service was never activated
3/ There is a renewal due soon
I would have authorised a " gesture of goodwill " If not through the refund policy you are tied with but an offer of substancial discount or free of charge internet protection next year.
Suggest you speak to whoever is in charge of customer retention.
Best Regards
Colin

Thank you for sharing the email notification sent by AVG.
I have noticed that your AVG Secure VPN is registered under a different email address (cxxxn@pagersandco.plus.com) than the one you used to contact us. It is the reason we were unable to locate this order details initially. This subscription is not related to AVG Internet Security in any manner.
We would like to inform you that the Subscription (automatic renewal) has been cancelled for AVG Secure VPN (1 year subscription). The license will not be renewed and no money will be taken from your account for the renewal. You will be informed about the expiration of your license in time to purchase a license renewal before your AVG expires.

If you need anything else, do not hesitate to let us know.

Hi Team

may I suggest you speak to your on line manager or anyone who can overide the refund policy and agree a credit bearing in mind our internet licence is due soon for renewal . Your reply will reult in our  decision to stay with AVG in the future.
