AVG 2015 just installed but get "Identity protection not enabled". When I try "fix" I get:
"Could not finish automatic state repair"
Have gone through re-starts, repair and reinstalled program. Get same message.
Running windows XP Pro.

Thanks for fast response Alan. I tried the procedure in the article again but it still did not cure the problem. I tried a complete uninstall of AVG and then reinstalled which has cured the problem. The first uninstall hung-up with a report that driver could not be found. A re-boot and repeat uninstall worked.
