I have also had this problem and reinstalled AVG but identity still won't fix and errorr message remains. Any other suggestions please?

Have just renewed my licence and downloaded the latest AVG, on my laptop this worked fine but on my pc (Windows HP) there is an error warning that identity is not protected. Then ran the repair facility but no improvement
