I have an issue that I have been unable to resolve in AVG Antivirus FREE in Windows 7.  The Identity Protection component shows that it is enabled but indicates it has an issue.  Clicking on it shows the message "Component is not active."  Clicking "Fix Now" appears to do something (it briefly goes from showing Protected to Not Protected) but the component remains in the same state afterwards.

I have tried every method I could find on the support site and forum including several repair methods as well as methods for completely removing and reinstalling it.  The end result is always the same after updating, rebooting, etc... the component shows enabled but inactive.

I do not have this issue on any of our other computers.  The only thing that is different about this computer versus the others is that it has a SSD drive as a boot drive with Windows on it and a HDD with data (i.e. user and program data folders were relocated to the HDD during the Windows installation using Audit Mode and the System Preparation Tool).  I initially had an issue with the AVG installation similar to what is noted in https://forums.avg.com/ww-en/avg-forums?sec=thread&act=show&id=222013 and was able to resolve that.

Is there something else that I am missing?  It seems like I should be able to get an error message somehow to at least help further diagnose and resolve this issue.
