To get your issue fixed, we request you tor run AVG remover tool and then install AVG Protection back in your pc. To run AVG remover tool follow the below steps :

Accept the license agreement and then choose AVG Product and remove it.

Hi, the identity component on my avg internet security is disabled and when I click on fix now it fixes it for a couple of seconds then is disabled again. Is there a way of fixing it without having to uninstall and reinstall avg? I done this a month or so back due to another problem with avg, do not want to be doing this again.

NOTE: Once the AVG Remover Tool has done with its process. Please go to the drive where you installed this tool and look for a folder named as "AVG Remover" and I request you to delete it manually.
