Identity Protection uses excessive CPU

Hello Andrew. I am sorry to hear about the inconvenience caused. I would request you to run AVG remover tool based on your OS (32-bit or 64-bit) to completely remove AVG and then re install. I have repaired AVG twice, which fixes the problem temporarily.  However it re-occurs after a couple of days intermittently using all spare cpu.  I suspect the problem is a leftover from IBM trusteer rapport, which I uninstalled some time back, but don't know.
