My AVG apparently just had an update this morning and I know it's a false positive because it suddenly doesn't work well today. I can't even do photoshop anymore. Do we have to wait this out for everything to go back to normal with you guys or does the update permanently ruin the computer?

Got idp.generic alarm on Microsoft onedrive. Annoying. AVG is up-to-date. Why does this still happen?

We can realize the situation on your part.
False postives will occur with any AntiVirus program (different service provider too) as a result of new virus definitions added to the program's database. We always do have an option to whitelist the application if this happen.
