I have switched to Norton's so I have something to protect me. Any news?
You are most welcome, Rich.

Feel free to contact us if you need any assistance with AVG.
Sorry Scot, I didn't see your question earlier. I also run Win 7 / IE 11.
I have the same problem since the latest AVG update. Get the "Internet Explorer has stopped working" error message" IE 11 will not start.
If I delete AVG then IE works normally. Any Idea what has happened ?
Hi Rich,
I apologize for the inconvenience caused, please provide me a screenshot of the error message that you get while you try to run the Internet Explorer. Here is a link with the steps to create a screenshot : http://avgread.me/1aZxsAV . You can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.
The new version of AVG won't allow Internet Explorer 11 to run. What's the problem?
Hi Akash
I did as you suggested but problem still persists. The only thing that solves the problem is a complete uninstall of AVG. (reinstall reintroduces the problem)
As a side note, I tried running IE11 through Sandboxie and got this error message "SBIE2303 Could not hook CoGetObject (1)" A quick Google search shows this means there is a problem with "Insufficient permissions or bad anti-virus.". Hope this helps.
Yes, Rich. I have sent an email instruction on how to collect and send us the AVG log files.
If the email is not found in inbox, do check in spam and junk folders.
Thank you for confirming the same, Scot. Our senior team will make sure your computer is completely protected by AVG.
Also, like Rich my AVG was working perfectly untill late Friday when the newest AVG update was install on my system. (Took alot of trial and error to isolate the problem to AVG)
