I read in the support area that making IE11 an exception under the options/advanced settings/exception, that the issue of IE11 not opening may be resolved. I tried this and it worked. However, I'm now wondering if I am at risk suring the internet because of making this exception?

Hi,
I have a recent install of AVG Antivirus Free (build 16.71.7596). I also have Trusteer Rapport installed for more secure banking. In order for IE11 to open, either AVG or Trusteer needs to be disabled. These two programs seems to be in conflict with each other.
