Greetings,

If you've already uninstalled AVG Antivirus Free from your Mac, please refer to the below steps & make sure that all leftover traces of AVG from your Mac:

1) Open Finder
2) In menu bar select GO > GO TO FOLDER
3) Type: /Library/Application Support/
4) Locate and delete AVGAntivirus folder manually (Restart your mac)

After making sure that all leftover traces of AVG has been removed from your Mac, try reinstalling AVG Antivirus Free.

I'm unable to install AVG free for Mac as it giving me an error saying Previous version of avg is already installed. Could you please confirm what needs to be done.
