iMAC - OOPS YOU ARE OFFLINE - POST SCAN UNRESOLVED

As others have reported, on my IMAC after a scan there are multiple items to be corrected (Cache, LogFIles, Trash), and when clicking on RESOLVE ALL get the OOPS YOU ARE OFFLINE MESSAGE. Additionally when accessing websites the progress bar starts then stops… So A) what is the resolution to have AVG resolve issues and B) is AVG causing my random slowness. My iMAC is just not performing good since AVG installed. PLEASE HELP.

Initially, please let us know the version of your MAC & share us the screenshots of the scan results, message that you receive for better clarity.
Also, clarify whether the performance goes down while browsing.
