Hi Joseph,
We are sorry to hear this.

Does the image appears as shortcut?
Keep us posted.

since in installed and run AGV, my images do not show. It requires me to click on these and open them, not easy when most are untitled. Has AGV turned off a setting?
Hello Joseph.
We'd request you to undo the changes made by AVG TuneUp on your PC and verify if that resolved the issue.
The Rescue Center allows you to undo certain changes made by AVG TuneUp. To access the Rescue Center, click the undo icon on the right side of the AVG TuneUp dashboard. You can view a list of actions and click Undo next all actions.
avinash, thats exactly what it was well done. i undid all the changes and it restored the images so what i will do now is do the tune up one item at a time to identify which one is corrupting the images. many thanks
Thank you for updating the status, Joseph.
Are you able to access the images after restoring the changes made by AVG TuneUp?
Sure Joseph, please perform scan again using AVG Tuneup and check it.
Also, make sure you have selected correct folder before performing cleanup. If you have any clarification, please do let us know.
