IMAT emails being blocked

Hello Art. May I know the name of the AVG program that you use? Please try temporarily disabling AVG and check if could send and receive emails without issues. Please follow the instructions mentioned in this article http://avgclick.me/TempDisableAVG .

I use AVG Internet Security 2015, paid subscription. I have solved the problem. My email server does not like IMAP accounts. It would not let Outlook get email even with AVG off. I changed the account to a pop account and restarted AVG and added the Outlook add-in back into the program and now everything works as it should.

When AVG add in for Outlook 2013 any email that is in IMAT configuration is blocked. Using Windows 8.1, Outlook 2013 and AVG 2015. This happens on Dell desk top but not on Toshiba Laptop. Both AVG installations appear the same.

Any ideas?
