Impossible to reinstall AVG and the AVG support was awful

Can anyone now reinstall AVG?
I tried five times and the reinstallation failed, so I contacted AVG support who said that she could talk me through the reinstallation for free or they could do it remotelly for a price. She did not know the price so she asked her supervisor. The supervisor came on and said it would be £60 ($90). I was unwilling to pay this so she reduced it to £40, so I asked her to talk me through the installation for free. She was unwilling to do that, so after half an hour I put the phone down. VERY DISSAPOINTED WITH AVG.
