Hello Dylan,
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused.
Many of our users find these offers useful: they rely on them to upgrade to our higher levels of protection.
By doing so, they help fund your free version of the protection.
We also handpick offers from our other products or those of partners we feel can add to your security or digital experience.
Many of our customers reported about our campaign popup issue, we have escalated this to our concern team and they are working on this to find an alternative method.
We request you to submit your feedback to us via http://www.avg.com/product-feedback .
Hello Leonardus,
We apologize if an AVG product did not meet your expectations. Our main goal is to keep our customers happy.
AVG carefully monitors the quality of our products and the service we provide, therefore all feedback http://avgclick.me/AVGfeedback from our customers is important to us. If you have a specific experience with AVG products that you would like to share with us, we would appreciate hearing about it.
Please feel free to contact us for any further assistance. Thank you.
Hello, I am being bombarded with intrusive and incessant AVG popups saying FREE UPGRADE AVAILABLE. I click the "keep existing protection" option, only to be re-attacked by the popup minutes later. I see the forums are full of people being driven to fury over this, which is understandable. I've tried everything I can find to get them to stop but so far no success. Could you make them stop immediately please, and not simply give me some ineffectual palm off (as I see many in the support forums have been given). If we can't resolve this issue I will have to use another AV. Popups that cannot be turned off are unacceptable, and one of the main points of having an antivirus in the first place in not to be pestered by these types of things. They are not welcome. Thanks.
Leonardus, I uninstalled AVG and switched to Microsoft Security Essentials. It's free. So far no problems and not one single spammy pop-up. Such a relief!

AVG Guru
OK. deleting AVG now.
There are plenty of free antivirus programmes that don't spam their users.
Your "concern team" evidently isn't sufficiently concerned.
good luck with it.
Hello Dylan,
We are sorry to know that you have uninstalled AVG.
This is indeed disappointing.
As we explained earlier, we have escalated it and working on this.
Thank you.
well…i'm with dylan. i've been using AVG since 2004, i've even recommended this to some friends. sad to leave you. sad to see you become a "SPAMWARE" yourself
Dylan, i'm doing the same as You… AVG, if you keep doing this… i don't know how much loyal user like us will be switching to others AV, like i've already done…
Hello Leonardus,
We are sorry to know that. We would like to keep you informed that it is a promotional pop-up. These pop-ups are temporary. But we do understand the repeated appearance of the same message is frustrating and we are working to improve your experience. Your feedback was passed to the concerned department. Thank you.
I'm Sorry, your software is a such a good quality then… but now i've seen you become and spamware… sad to leave
