Dropbox have just "updated" their interface. My paid subscription includes 1Tb of files most of which are not synched to my computer. When I tried to go through Dropbox to my web-based files AVG popped up to say it had quarantined a file, after which Dropbox tried to open a local files/ folder instead of going to the web.
The only solution was to uninstall AVG. I tried closing AVG but it continued to pop up even so.
Let me know when you've fixed this behaviour and I'll think about reinstalling.

Unfortunately, we cannot analyze the root cause of this issue only if AVG installed on your PC. I'd request to reinstall AVG and let us know if the issue persists.
