Incorrectly billed

My credit card was billed for AUD$139.99 on 1st September by Digital River Ireland Sydney Australia, and my bank confirms the bill came from AVG Technology. But I don't recall subscribing to AVG, and also "AVG My Account" states that I do not have a subscription. How do I escape from this scam? I have Windows 10 and do not need AVG.

Upon checking your account, we're unable to locate the charge. You might have used your alternate/old email address to subscribe earlier.
That subscription might have enrolled to automatic renewal during the time of purchase.
