Incredimail won't send or recieve

I was finaly able to disable, but I think it was a 'passive mode' email works again but I get a message on the AVG that my computer isn't protected. I went and undo what I had done, but the message is still there. I click on it and it brings up the email and web and says I am protected. When I first open the program it says I'm not. I did restart.

As of yesterday AVG preformed a scan and said it found a threat and removed it. It also change my home page on Firefox and now my email, Indredimail, won't send and receive Says that action can not be completed. What gives?.

It was nerve wrecking, but it's done and it is working fine. I want to thank you guys for all the help and assistance you gave me through this tribulation. LOL

We appreciate your efforts in trying to fix the issue. We request you to remove the AVG Anti Virus Free completely using the AVG Clear tool : https://share.avg.com/steam/PSP/AVG2017/AVG_Clear.exe and then reinstall it again from http://www.avg.com/us-en/download . Even after that id issue persists please attach a Screenshot http://avgread.me/1aZxsAV of the Error that you receive while you try to access your Email.

I am using the free version of AVG.
My Incrdimail program is still not send or recieving. Is there anything that can be done shy of unistalling?
