Infection Detected but unable to delete until reboot

Hello, Philip.

I certainly understand that same file is being detected repeatedly in AVG virus scan though it was removed. Please also provide us with a screenshot ( http://avgclick.me/getscreenshot ) of the scan result showing the detection. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.

To analyze the issue further, I need to submit your concern to our senior technicians along with other diagnostic logs.
I have sent you an email with steps on how to collect and upload the data required for analyzing your issue. Please check your inbox and spam/junk folder as well.

I'm running Windows 7 and for the past week or so I get an infection detected during a Virus Scan which AVG can't clear without a reboot.
The infection detected is c:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Search\Data\Applications\Windows\tmp.edb
Once the reboot has taken place the infection seems to get cured but reappears the next time I run a Virus Scan.
Any Advice Please.
