Hello Brooke,
If these threats were moved to "Quarantine", then you need not worry, they will not harm your computer.
Trojan, is any malicious computer program which misleads users of its true intent.
Trojans are generally spread by some form of social engineering, for example where a user is duped into executing an e-mail attachment disguised to appear not suspicious.
Trojans may allow an attacker to access users' personal information such as banking information, passwords, or personal identity. It can infect other devices connected to the network.
Both these were picked up by my Virus Scan today and have since been Quarantined BUT are they safe sitting there or is there something else that needs to happen in order for them to be removed from my laptop?
Also - what exactly is this virus / trojan?? What can or could it do to my laptop?
Many thanks!!
