Following a routine AVG virus scan yesturday, it detected the above virus but was unable to remove it. What can I do to remove this?

We would like to confirm that 16.101.7752 is the latest version. Either the threat could have been removed or may be a false detection which is fixed in the latest AVG updates. Thank you.

The AVG automatic updates always updates the latest version and in very few cases the update may be deleted or corrupted that have stopped from updating your product further. Since the latest update is installed now. You will not have any issue further and the automatic updates will continue to install the latest updates.

It seems that the AVG program you have installed is not the latest version, we suggest you to remove and reinstall AVG again and see if the latest version of AVG gets installed the latest version is 16.91.7752. And once you install this version, please run AVG scan and see if you any threat is detected.
