I have the same problem. Even after deactivating Windows Defender the problem with the inline hook ntoskrnl.exe is still not solved.
I have the free version of AVG and it is updated, too.
How can I fix the problem?

I seem to have the same problem as other people here. While scanning I get different amount of threats (from 20 up to 58). My AVG program is updated and free version. Is there any way of fixing this issue?

We are sorry to know that the issue persists, could you please let us know if you have the latest version of AVG Free installed. You can check the AVG version in the program. Please open the AVG program and click on "Support" and then from there you can see the AVG version, please let us know the version of AVG installed.
