1) First step is to use AVG Remover tool and uninstall your AVG program completely. To download AVG Remover Tool please click on the following link:For 32-bit: http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/support/avg_remover_stf_x86_2015_5501.exe
For 64-bit: http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/support/avg_remover_stf_x64_2015_5501.exe
2) Run the downloaded tool and follow the instructions displayed on your screen.

Hi AVG

I have the same problem as Adel above. I try to insall AVG antivirus free version 2015 but received error code of 
Error code: 0xE001018B
Description: Event exec_finished

Dear all,

I'm having a problem reinstalling AVG 2015 Free. When I try to install it, it gives me an error code 0xE001018B. I used AVG reset tool and restarted, then used AVG remove tool and restarted, then tried to reinstall AVG again but with no success. Same error occurred. I'm currently using window defender and did deactivate it while I was trying to install AVG. I'm using Windows 10 with the latest updates. Does anyone have any suggestions?! Thank you!

  1. Your computer will be restarted automatically. After the restart, AVG Remover will finish the uninstallation.
    NOTE: Once the AVG Remover Tool has done with its process. Please go to the C drive and look for a folder named as "AVG Remover" and I request you to delete it manually.

    To download our AVG free antivirus program 2016 version then please use the below link:
    For 32 bit: http://files-download.avg.com/inst/mp/AVG_Antivirus_Free_x86_694.exe
    For 64 bit: http://files-download.avg.com/inst/mp/AVG_Antivirus_Free_x64_693.exe

There is currently an issue when installation of AVG 2016 is failing with error 0xE001F94E
Are you getting this error for the AVG free antivirus installation?
Also you get this error even after running AVG remover tool, am I right?

No, I got this error when installing when installing PCTuneUp.
Installing AVG Trial version got the same error code, but installing AVG free antivirus with offline installer file had no error. (completed successfully)
