Instalation and Activation

We regret for the inconvenience caused. Since you have mentioned that you are receiving an error at the time of activation, no need to worry, we are here to help you.
We have sent you the newly renewed license number through your registered email address, please try once to reactivate it, if the issue persist, please try to follow the below mentioned steps.
We would request you  to remove previously installed program traces of (AVG 2015 or AVG 2014)from your system using AVG Remover tool and then try to reinstall AVG Internet Security.
Note: If you have installed any other conflicting programs like AVAST, NORTON, McAfee or KASPERSKY  try to uninstall it.
Once you have uninstalled from your system,try to follow the steps which mentioned below.
Remover and Download:

I have received my invoice, order and confirmation & license via email but when I try to activate the license number I get the following message: "Specified file not found"

  1. To download AVG remover tool, please click on this link:  http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-reinstall-AVG
    2) Run the downloaded file and follow the onscreen instructions.
    3) Restart your PC when the restart option is displayed on the remover tool screen.
    4)Once you have logged into your PC after the restart, please go to C:\ drive and delete the "AVG REMOVER" folder manually.
    Note : Please use the AVG Remover tool mentioned on the article to uninstall the AVG program more effectively.
