Is that going to stop the instalation to be completed?

Miguel, Which AVG product are you actually attempting to install?. Error code… Are you also seeing Description: Event exec_finished?.

I'm having the same problem with Miguel and I followed all the tips you gave to him. I even tried to install AVG free without Zen but without any success. I also tried to contact support via chat but the form wouldn't load. Any ideas on what might be wrong with my installation?
I'm running on Windows 10, had McAfee installed but deleted it using Alan's tips above.

I'm getting this code error 0xc0070643 on instaling AVG

I tried many solutions that I've read on the internet but none work. I installed AVG on a laptop just like this one I'm on and it worked out fine, but on this one it's not working.

Can someone help me with this problem?

Miguel, Also just to check McAfee removal… Download & run the McAfee total removal tool… (http://download.mcafee.com/products/licensed/cust_support_patches/MCPR.exe).

well it didn't removed a whole file from AVG

I had to erase it manually but this particular dll file avgsysa.dll it's only one that can't be removed

It came with McAfee, but I deleted it from this computer

Then I installed AVG and it was working fine till it warned me it wasn't protecting the system anymore

That's when this error appeared
