Install of Family Safets causes browsers to become Unresponsive

Ted Enns-Dyck:  I have heard no other updates from AVG, but it has only been a couple days.  I run the AVG FS on 3 computers.  The other two are fine using FF and IE.  Both are also Win 7.  Hopefully they will find a solution soon to the issue I am facing.

Is any progress being made on this?  In my IE browser filter is not filtering.  Chrome and Firefox are finally working properly after a week of nothing but problems.  Problem with multile accounts and computers.

Michael, If you use the tool correctly the diagnostic output should be auto supplied to AVG.

Yes of course.
Thanks

Hi all,
Issue with servers has been fixed, it should be working.
Thanks

In the last few days I completely reformatted a troublesome PC thinking I had an OS issue.  All updates for the PC are in place as well.  Computer is Dell Inspiron Laptop running i5 chip with 4 GB ram.  Prior to the reformat one of our computers running AVG Family Safety was having an issue when using any browser.  After installing AVG Family Safety on the reformatted machine any of my browsers (IE, FF, Chrome) become essentially unresponsive.  If I uninstall AVG FS the browser experience returns to responding quickly.  I operate with the following same configuration on two other comupters with no issue,  Avast Internet Security, Malware Bytes and AVG FS.

Hi Michael,
Unfortunately there is currently some issue with filtering servers, we will let you know when to enable it again.
Thanks

Running Windows 7.  MalwareBytes is Pro, not free.

Hi Michael,
In order to analyze it please provide us with diagnostic output (gather it right after inducing issue) using this tool and please add detailed description of issue.
Thanks

Is the reformatted PC running Windows 8? Is the MalwareBytes version on that machine Free or Pro?

Michhael, MalwareBytes Pro has residential protection. When AVG IS is used with MalwareBytes it's recommended that it should be disabled. Have a look @ this article (https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Applications-in-conflict-with-AVG). We note that you're actually using Avast Internet Security.
