Install to D: Drive?

I would like to start using AVG Free, but I tried to install it just now, and the install failed due to insufficient disk space.  My C: is a small Solid State drive that only has my OS and a few other high-use apps.  Most of my stuff is on the D: drive.  I can't see any way to get AVG to install to D:, however.  Is it possible?
