This issue is caused due to the presence of the third party security software or the traces of old AVG files. We suggest you to run the AVG remover tool http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe
Note: Once the removal of AVG is complete, go to C Drive and delete the AVG remover folder. After which you can install AVG Protection.
