After uninstallation, please use this offline installer link (64 bit) http://files-download.avg.com/inst/mp/AVG_Ultimate_x64_1828.exe to install AVG Ultimate

Hi
I want to install AVG on a fresh install of Windows 7 with nearly no other programs installed. I then get an error code 0x0601, I removed AVG using the AVG Remover Tool and downloaded the latest version of AVG Ultimate from Download Free Antivirus Software for PC | AVG Virus Protection. After that I made sure that the "Windows Installer" process has been stopped (it wasn't running anyway). I installed it again, but the same error code appears.
