I aktivated the activation code on www.avg.com/retail, went into my avg-account and downloaded
the installation file for AVG Performance. During installation process I was asked to insert
my mail adress and password for my account.
After hitting register & activate button, I got the error message :
Installation failed. Error code 0xA001F90D
I de-installed and re-installed several times without any success.
What can I do?

We have released a revamped version of TuneUp. In this regard, we'd suggest you to try that.
An email which has the steps to perform clean installation has been sent to you. (Email might land in your spam/junk folder).

I have AVG Performace version 709, fully paid version. Yesterday, I did an online chat asking why I do not get AVG updates. The answer I got was appalling "what do you mean by updates". I said no program is perfect & always needs updates. Today I find there is actually an update!!! It's nowhere near as good as version 709, has nothing like the options 709 has & nowhere as good as being 'user friendly'. When I pay for a product, I expect service, not a fob off. I expect other customers do as well !!
